By creating a submission draft, continuing through the submission workflow, or clicking Submit Manuscript, the submitting person confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms on behalf of themselves and, where applicable, all authors and contributors listed in the submission.
I confirm that the submitted manuscript is original work. I confirm that the manuscript has not been previously published in whole or in substantial part in another journal, book, conference proceeding, repository with formal publication status, or other publication venue, unless this has been clearly disclosed to the editorial office.
I confirm that the manuscript is not currently under review, consideration, or active submission with another journal, publisher, conference, or publication venue. I understand that duplicate submission, redundant publication, plagiarism, self-plagiarism, fabricated data, falsified data, manipulated images, undeclared third-party material, or other forms of research or publication misconduct may result in editorial action, including return before review, rejection, correction, expression of concern, retraction, account restriction, or notification to relevant institutions where appropriate.
3. Contributor and acknowledgement consent
I confirm that any person listed as a contributor, translator, collaborator, acknowledged person, or non-author contributor has given permission to be identified in the submission or manuscript where required.
I confirm that any contribution statements, acknowledgements, translator credits, or non-author contributor details are accurate to the best of my knowledge.
I understand that non-author contributors may not be treated as authors unless they meet the journal’s authorship criteria and are included in the published author list.
4. Journal guidelines and manuscript readiness
