Submission Terms and Conditions

Please read these Submission Terms and Conditions carefully before creating or submitting a manuscript through Editory Press. By creating a submission draft, continuing through the submission workflow, or clicking Submit Manuscript, the submitting person confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms on behalf of themselves and, where applicable, all authors and contributors listed in the submission.

I confirm that the submitted manuscript is original work. I confirm that the manuscript has not been previously published in whole or in substantial part in another journal, book, conference proceeding, repository with formal publication status, or other publication venue, unless this has been clearly disclosed to the editorial office.

I confirm that the manuscript is not currently under review, consideration, or active submission with another journal, publisher, conference, or publication venue. I understand that duplicate submission, redundant publication, plagiarism, self-plagiarism, fabricated data, falsified data, manipulated images, undeclared third-party material, or other forms of research or publication misconduct may result in editorial action, including return before review, rejection, correction, expression of concern, retraction, account restriction, or notification to relevant institutions where appropriate.

I confirm that all listed authors have made an appropriate scholarly contribution to the work. I confirm that all listed authors have reviewed and approved the submitted version of the manuscript. I confirm that all listed authors agree to the submission of this manuscript to the selected journal. I confirm that all listed authors agree with the author order, corresponding author, primary editorial contact, affiliations, declarations, acknowledgements, and submitted files. I confirm that no person who qualifies for authorship has been omitted from the author list. I confirm that no person has been added as an author without appropriate contribution and consent. I understand that authorship disputes, incorrect author information, missing author approvals, or unauthorized submissions may delay review, result in return of the manuscript, or require institutional clarification before editorial processing can continue.

I confirm that any person listed as a contributor, translator, collaborator, acknowledged person, or non-author contributor has given permission to be identified in the submission or manuscript where required.

I confirm that any contribution statements, acknowledgements, translator credits, or non-author contributor details are accurate to the best of my knowledge.

I understand that non-author contributors may not be treated as authors unless they meet the journal’s authorship criteria and are included in the published author list.

I confirm that the manuscript has been prepared according to the selected journal’s Author Guidelines.

I confirm that the information provided in the submission form is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge.

Where applicable, I confirm that the research described in the manuscript has received all required ethics approvals, institutional approvals, regulatory approvals, or review board permissions.

I confirm that all relevant conflicts of interest have been disclosed.

Conflicts of interest may include financial, personal, professional, institutional, political, academic, or other relationships that could influence, or be perceived to influence, the research, interpretation, review, or publication of the manuscript.

I confirm that all funding sources related to the research, writing, preparation, or publication of the manuscript have been disclosed.

Where applicable, I confirm that funder names, grant numbers, sponsor roles, and funding statements are accurate.

I confirm that the data availability information provided for this manuscript is accurate.

I confirm that any use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools in preparing the manuscript has been disclosed according to the journal’s policy.

I confirm that the manuscript references are accurate to the best of my knowledge.

Where available, references should include complete citation details, including DOI, URL, journal name, article title, author names, volume, issue, page range, publication year, or other required metadata.

I understand that incomplete or inaccurate references may delay editorial processing, indexing preparation, citation linking, or publication production.

I confirm that all uploaded files are appropriate for editorial review and publication processing.

I understand that the selected journal may use single-anonymous, double-anonymous, open, editorial, or another form of peer review.

Where anonymization is required, I confirm that files have been prepared according to the journal’s review policy.

I understand that submitting a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance, peer review, or publication.

I agree that Editory Press and the selected journal may contact me and other listed authors or contributors about this submission.

I agree that Editory Press and the selected journal may collect, store, use, and process my account and submission data for editorial, peer review, production, publication, indexing, archiving, reporting, communication, and platform administration purposes.

I understand that once a manuscript is submitted, the submission may become part of the journal’s editorial record.

I understand that after clicking Submit Manuscript, some fields may no longer be freely editable by the submitting person.

I understand that authors may request withdrawal of a submitted manuscript according to the selected journal’s policy.

If the manuscript is accepted, I understand that publication may require completion of additional publication steps.

I agree not to misuse the Editory Press platform.
