Clinical & Molecular Biomedicine (CMB) welcomes manuscript submissions that are original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors should ensure that their submission complies with the journal’s scope, ethical standards, formatting requirements, and publication policies before submitting their manuscript.

Online Submission

Authors should submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system.

Authors should follow the instructions provided on the submission page and upload all required manuscript files according to the instructions shown in the online submission system.

All files must be submitted in the required format and must be complete at the time of submission. Incomplete submissions may result in delays during editorial processing.

General Submission Requirements

Before submitting a manuscript to CMB, authors must ensure that:

• The work is original and has not been published previously, except in the form of a preprint, abstract, published lecture, academic thesis, or registered report.

• The manuscript is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

• Publication of the article has been approved by all authors.

• The responsible authorities where the work was carried out have approved the submission, where applicable.

• If accepted, the article will not be published elsewhere in the same form without the written consent of the copyright holder.

Required Submission Files

Authors should upload all required manuscript files during submission. These may include:

• Main manuscript file

• Title page

• Abstract and keywords

• Figure captions

• Tables

• Figures and artwork

• Supplementary materials, where applicable

• Video or multimedia files, where applicable

• Required declarations and statements

• Permission documents for reused copyrighted material, where applicable

Source File Requirements

Authors must provide editable source files for all components of the manuscript. For manuscript text, authors should submit files in common word-processing formats such as .doc, .docx, or LaTeX.

PDF files are not accepted as source files for manuscript submission.

Manuscripts prepared in Microsoft Word should use a single-column layout. Double-column formatting is permitted only for manuscripts prepared using LaTeX.

Submission Declarations

Author Contribution information and Competing Interest information must be provided at submission through the submission interface.

Where applicable, manuscripts must also include relevant statements on ethics approval, informed consent, consent to publish, funding, conflicts of interest, data availability, and permissions.

Cover Letter

A cover letter must accompany every submission. The cover letter should:

• Describe the scope, importance, and novelty of the manuscript

• Disclose any potential competing interests

• Confirm originality and exclusivity of submission to CMB

• Acknowledge author contributions and funding sources

• Suggest potential reviewers and optionally request exclusion of up to five reviewers

• Provide complete contact details for all authors, clearly identifying the corresponding author

Corresponding Author

One author must be clearly designated as the corresponding author. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal throughout submission, peer review, publication, and post-publication correspondence.

The corresponding author should provide complete and accurate contact details, including email address, full postal address, and telephone number.

Manuscript Preparation Before Submission

Before submitting, authors should ensure that:

• The manuscript has been checked for spelling, grammar, clarity, and consistency

• All references cited in the text are included in the reference list

• All references listed are cited in the text

• All necessary permissions have been obtained for copyrighted material reproduced from other sources

• Tables are prepared in editable Word format

• Figures are provided as high-resolution editable artwork where possible

• Tracked changes, strikethrough text, and unnecessary underlining have been removed unless scientifically relevant

Editorial Processing

After submission, the manuscript will be assessed by the journal’s editors to determine suitability for peer review. Manuscripts that meet the journal’s scope and basic quality requirements may be sent for independent expert review.

Authors should ensure that all submission information is accurate and complete to support efficient editorial handling.
