Advertising Policy
Clinical & Molecular Biomedicine (CMB) may accept lawful advertising in accordance with applicable legislation and the journal’s governing regulations. Advertising is treated as a commercial activity separate from the journal’s editorial and peer-review functions.
Types of Advertising
The journal may consider advertisements that are relevant to its academic, scientific, medical, educational, or professional readership.
Advertisements that are misleading, unlawful, discriminatory, deceptive, or inconsistent with the journal’s scientific and ethical standards will not be accepted.
Clinical & Molecular Biomedicine reserves the right to reject any advertisement at its discretion.
Advertising Decisions
Decisions concerning the acceptance, placement, or removal of advertisements are made by the publisher, Editory-Press LLC, or personnel authorized by the publisher.
Editors, peer reviewers, and members of the Editorial Board are not required to participate in commercial advertising decisions.
Separation from Editorial Content
Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from editorial and scholarly content.
Advertising does not influence:
- manuscript selection;
- peer-review decisions;
- editorial recommendations;
- acceptance or rejection decisions;
- the presentation of research findings; or
- the journal’s editorial priorities.
Advertisements are not selected or displayed on the basis of whether an advertiser, sponsor, institution, or related organization has submitted or published material in the journal.
Editorial Independence
Advertisers and commercial partners have no authority over editorial decisions.
The acceptance of advertising does not constitute endorsement by Clinical & Molecular Biomedicine, its editors, Editorial Board, reviewers, or Editory-Press LLC of the advertised product, service, organization, or claim.
Financial relationships arising from advertising must not interfere with the professional activities of the journal or its editorial staff, consistent with the journal’s governing regulations.
Online Advertising and Reader Behaviour
Where online advertising is used, the journal will clearly separate advertisements from published scholarly content.
Clinical & Molecular Biomedicine does not permit advertising practices that compromise the integrity, accessibility, or usability of scholarly content. Intrusive advertising that interferes with access to journal articles is not permitted.
Any use of reader data for advertising purposes must comply with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.
